You're cooking raw chicken in a frying pan

and using a spatula to stir it. Once the chicken starts to cook, do you:

- continue to use the raw chicken juice spatula
- clean/trade out the spatula
- other?

Please help settle this ongoing debate

I continue to use it.

I figure by the time it is all said and done everything has been cooked well enough

Same spatula (tongs, whatever) but wash it real quick after the first flip.

I’ll do the quick clean if I think of it, but usually don’t.

Same spatula is fine. But you don’t have to rub it into all the raw chicken. You put the chicken into the pan with your clean hands, and then clean them.

same spatula...i do always have a damp cloth draped over my shoulder for a quick clean if needed
