Deep cut, wease. Not gonna front. Had to Wookiepeedia that one.
My fandom is found to be lacking!
He was my favorite character in all the old Expanded Universe books. And I read them all up until the end of the Yuuzhan Vong storyline. That one was so long it burned me out. I’ve only read one since then and it was the Tarkin book.
You're not missing much. With a few exceptions, dime is absolutely right. The modern books have become less & less relevant to the overall fabric as they've gone on. Even the breadcrumbs that didn't add up to much began disappearing from the work.
We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…

Working Horn in would be about as cool to me as live action Ahsoka was to epilogue. Plus he’d fit in to the post-RotJ Jedi rebuilding.

I, Jedi is the best Star Wars book written. Even better than the original Thrawn trilogy.

High praise, indeed. Thanks for the valued recommendation. Will report back.

He’s already established in the Rogue squadron books up to that point (and the Stackpole books are the best) but he really embraces his being a Force sensitive in this book. Beautifully done.

More of that smoke....announcement for Old Republic movie (or whatever unnamed movie is apparently in the works) imminent?

The official reason for the postponment is scheduling conflicts with Jenkins' calendar...but c'mon!

"Thus, Squadron has been taken off the production schedule and is being postponed. The hope is that once Jenkins’ fulfills her previous commitments, she will be able to return to the project."

The tone of that statement is rather ominous, isn't it? Not postponed to 2024, or whatever. It's just "off the schedule", with a "hope" that she will return to the project.

Was that her? I haven’t seen it. Is it bad?

You weren’t to know but it looks like they’re about to make a big announcement about knights of the old republic. Some video game. Now being made into a film.

And it’s probably rian Johnson doing it.

Let’s see

Bummer. Yeah, WW 1984 sucks bad, but the plane scenes were cool. And this one was the first movie in a post sequel world right?

Seems it wont get made. SW fucked up with announcing all those series and movies i guess.

If you’re getting that from that Pucked site, it’s bullshit.

The guy has a long history of bullshit and ranting about Kathleen Kennedy. As he is again today.

Agreed those types of websites and commentators have been predicting imminent changes in management for Star Wars or Star Trek for YEARS. I got my hopes up with Star Trek enough times to not fall for that shit anymore. I did hear creative differences on this movie though but who knows?
