Interesting movie. Started off really well, had a decent middle part, and then by the end it seemed both predictable and a little cliche. All in all it was ok.

How old is the kid? I have a niece who is a total scaredy cat so movie selection is a little limited. I know if it was VinylGuy he'd take her to see IT or some shit, but I'm not that metal.

my gir´s little brother came home for a Halloween afternoon and we talked about horror movies. We saw scary stories to tell in the dark and Gremlins because they were approved by her sister from a list i gave.

After that i give him a glimpse of The Conjuring. He was silent, super into the movie and said super serious...; did you see this movie alone?

I love that movie. I'm not sure how much info or insight I can provide. But I really love it. It's top tier Nolan for me.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
