He holds one sometimes, but I don't think it's plugged in.
It's plugged in, but it's low in the mix.
I know that. I was just trying to be cute.
Oh, sorry.
Day after I first saw Pearl Jam in Minneapolis in 98, we were driving home with the radio on and the hosts started discussing the show. There was much debate about whether or not Ed really played guitar on Betterman, or was just faking it "like Bono does."

I don't recall what conclusion they reached.
was it THE WEASE?!

This is why Lynyrd Skynyrd is the best band.

Short answer: yes, with an "if"
Long answer: no, with a "but"

I've been on a huge SOAD kick lately after reading some 20 year anniversary tributes to Toxicity :nice:

I've always been frustrated that they never released a live album (possibly due to how comparably poor most of their live recordings sound compared to studio or live in person), so I'm making my own by remastering their officially released live B-sides etc. Stay tuned ;)

Will you be adding a second guitar to the chorus of "Chop Suey" so it doesn't sound like total shit

No, but I found a version with great bass and harmonising that more than makes up for the sketchy guitar :nice:

The chorus of the album version is so good. It's got several layers of that dulcimer, there's piano, it's lush, it's harmonically full. I love it. The live version is flimsy and flat

Oh, my bad. Yeah -- SOAD mostly sounds like shit live.

I thought you were talking about the studio version as there have been no official live releases.

There is one official live release from the 'Pledge Of Allegiance Tour' compilation, which I'll be using for my forthcoming comp
