big bag of meh
I've been rolling lately in this league. 3 wins in a row and scoring a lot of points. After a slow start Jonathan Taylor is killing it and JaMarr chase has been a midround godsend, especially with my unexpected WR issues. I haven't made a ton of roster moves, but did trade Robinson and Stafford for McLaurin and Tannehill. That's worked out well enough despite the fact that Stafford has outplayed Murray, but getting something for Robinson was huge. Fingers crossed Murray doesn't continue to have injury issues because I don't want to rely on Tannehill. I also picked up Bridgewater last week and started him due to Tannehill's unfavorable matchup, but either way...

Antonio Gibson has been a complete nonfactor, but I picked up Eli Mitchell and he went straight to my starting RB's after returning from injury. Conner was mostly a td vulture for awhile, but he's been getting a lot more carries lately so hopefully that continues. Somebody dropped Jerry Jeudy literally a week before he returned from the IR and I had first waiver priority so I pounced on that. TE sucks, but whatever.

This league is wide open and there are no dominant teams. I'm in fourth place at 5-4 and first place is only 6-3.

Congrats Lenny.

I'm still winless in my league of record but I am leading in my other league(s).

Nice. What's going on with Mahomes? I haven't paid close enough attention this year. Funny though i'm easily in first place in the league I have him in, and the first place team in the above league also has him.

He's fine. It's a combination of things. A big part of it is drops a small part of it is extreme bad luck.

He's figuring it out. Lol for him to return to form fully very soon.

Other than the 7-2 team in first, my league's the same way, Lenny. I've clawed back to 8th with 3 straight wins to be 4-5 (I started out 0-4).

I have both Brady & Mahomes (one QB league) because Brady slid to the 8th and I figured I'd trade him. When Wilson went down I tried to trade with his owner sending Brady & Mike Davis for Justin Jefferson & Miles Gaskin. The guy countered with J. Taylor & Robert Woods and I'm mad I didn't accept it (Wentz had his double-ankle injury that week and I thought Taylor would be bottled up). I countered with a swapped in Zack Moss instead of Davis and tried to swap our IRd players (Bateman from my IR for Wilson on his). Then he started asking about Kyle Pitts and that weekend Taylor had like 40 points and the negotiations were done.

Yeah it's hard to know. I was really frustrated with Taylor and Gibson the first few weeks, especially since they were my first two picks. I definitely didn't want Gibson but I was leaning Ridley there so I guess it doesn't matter at this point.

Is this a keeper league? The league i'm 7-1 with right now is, and I kept Mahomes this year but even if he bounces back strongly part of me wants to go a different route next year. I probably shouldn't mess with the formula though.

It is a keeper league. Up to 2 players. Nobody picked in the first 5 rounds can be kept. A player is kept at a 3 round penalty from their draft slot. So I picked Pittman in the 7th, so he'll be my 4th round pick next year. Somebody else picked Jamarr Chase in the 7th and dropped him just prior to week one (for some unknown reason), so I'll keep Chase as my 5th rounder next year.

I mean, I'd be pretty happy to have Taylor right now, but yeah, bummer for Woods.

I'd say not this week, bc Odell is playing Monday night, but I expect him to get hurt, too, and then Jefferson & Higbee have a chance at some increased looks ROS.

Yeah I realized after sending that I had forgotten about OBJ. I was hoping ODB or Jefferson were available in both my leagues. Jefferson is in one, but I don't have anybody I'd want to drop for him.

I don't know much OBJ plays or how involved he really is this week. I'd expect to see Van Jefferson and Tyler Higbee get more involved for this one week at least. But we'll see.

I was thinking the same.

Matchup wise it likely won't continue this week, but if Aiyuk continues to step it up I'm going to have some difficult start/sit decisions going forward.

I’m beginning to hate Kyler Murray.

Tannehill or Bridgewater? I’m leaning Bridgewater

The guy I'm facing this week just swapped in Bridgewater for Murray.

I'd probably do the same given your options and their matchups.

Yeah that plus AJ Brown really being Tannehill’s only good weapon. I have Jeudy starting also so a few eggs in one basket.

And the right call was Tannehill.
