Our basement remodel began in earnest last week. The contractor finished the demo and is beginning to cut concrete this week. Every day after work is a fun surprise.

Re: The Home Improvement Thread
Trag was exactly fucking correct. I called customer service and there are sensors at those latches both where it telescopes up from and at the frame of the mower. There’s also one for the mulching plug/bagger. One of the latches was just a tiny bit unfastened and that was it. Good call trag. Should’ve listened to you from the start, my friend.wease wrote:Yeah. That’s not the issue. I started it and held the safely bar for 4 minutes and it ran smooth as silk. It’s only when I actually move the mower that it dies. I’ve looked for some kind of odd sensor or something and can’t find anything.tragabigzanda wrote:Are you positive the handle latches are locked into place near the base of the unit, and that the telescopic handle is extended as far out as it will go? It sounded like one of those safety features is powering you down.

Got an unexpected bill for $832 in my mailbox this afternoon, that’s how much my escrow shortage is going to be this year, largely because of a local tax increase.

The window job we put money down on in April is finally finishing up* this week. Installer dude said the living room picture window with double-hungs on each side was the largest/heaviest window he's ever installed. Took 4 people to set it in place.
*haha not really because we're still missing a window that he'll have to come back for at some undetermined point in the future

I want to paint my kitchen but not sure what color.
I want to paint my little office/closet in the second bedroom but not sure what color.
Also need to touch up some trim paint. That will be white.
The end
