I’ll get it once it is on CD. $45 plus shipping is a lot to spend on a show…it costs more than the cost of seeing that show with a friend in 1992, right?
It's cheaper than the Zombie Funkos.

Also, while I've done my usual spiel about the shallow vault and how a compilation would be nice, I am excited for this one.

It's a fucking shame that the Vault series has turned into vinyl-only bullshit releases.

When you collar the wife, you've got to expect some resistance.

ITT we learn that B's wife doesn't respond to the "heel" command.

Vault 2 is the Vic. I'd bet my house that is the next one they do, and hopefully it's within the next six months. Makes no sense to just do #1

Where did he say this? If this is something the will consider, the options have opened WAY up.

I wonder how many people who were handed that thing upon walking in were relatively casual fans who just said, "WTF am I supposed to do with this?" and threw it away.

Like a soundboard/AUD matrix, or just slapping a label on an audience recording and selling it for $45 on vinyl?

I guess the music is theirs to sell but this would be a disappointment, IMO. I have my fondnesses for certain audience recordings but can't imagine getting excited about something like that as an officially-sanctioned product (at least not from PJ, where so many high quality recordings already exist and lower-quality ones are abundant on the internet).

Though to be fair, a high-quality 1996-98 show is probably the only PJ item that would tempt me these days. I'm pretty happy with the abundance of great quality stuff we already have, especially when we have guys like Brad and WCT to whip it into shape for us.

Jeff said it on podcast/youtube interview a few months ago. i can't quite remember which one, but i feel like it's either posted in the jeff ament appreciation thread, or the pearl jam references one. he didn't specify from what show or tour, but said it was a mix of what they had and an AUD recording.

Wow, I can't remember a vault ever being sold out before it's actually shipped. My guess is that these are already pressed, they're just waiting for them to arrive in order to ship them.
