This has happened. I’m in third place at 5-5, and my quarterback has that sweet natural immunity now. Things are looking up for the stretch run.spike wrote:Our eight team league has mad parity.
Likely two 6-4 teams, four 5-5 teams, and two 4-6 teams.

12-team league for me. I'm up to 5-5 now too and sitting just outside the playoffs with two weeks to go... we do two-week matchups for the finals ending week 17.spike wrote:This has happened. I really like that idea for the finals. I may suggest that to my league next year.elliseamos wrote:12-team league for me. We've always done that in my main league. I hate it.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:I really like that idea for the finals. I may suggest that to my league next year.elliseamos wrote:12-team league for me. I did too, in my alt league. Picked up Burrow in my LoR while I wait for Murray to heal up. Not that it matters. I'm toast in that league. All I'm playing did now is one single win. That's so I want. Just one.spike wrote:So I picked up Cam Newton.

You have no wins? Please post your draft picks in that league.epilogue wrote:I did too, in my alt league. Picked up Burrow in my LoR while I wait for Murray to heal up. Not that it matters. Injuries to some key guys, but that still seems like a team that could’ve mustered up some wins by now. I’m guessing opponents are running up big scores against you; don’t you just love ff?

Honest fantasy football question, how many of you track the point totals/stats of players on other teams for comparison/trade purposes? Looking at Joey's list I realize I couldn't tell you a single thing about any of his players' fantasy output.

I try to pay pretty close attention. I'm not super invested but If say I'll like 7 out of 10 invested.Monkey_Driven wrote:Honest fantasy football question, how many of you track the point totals/stats of players on other teams for comparison/trade purposes? I remembered us having similar teams. God, I'm so glad I unloaded Allen Robinson. Such a waste of a 3rd round pick. I feel like Aiyuk could have a decent second half of the season, but i'm not holding my breath. Or starting him unless I have to.

I had Robinson & Aiyuk too! I'm fine with them being on somebody else's team now.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:I'm about the same.epilogue wrote:I try to pay pretty close attention. As for paying attention to other players stats, I don't know them like my own team, but I certainly have a sense of where they rank during the week I'm facing them.

The occasional scan of league leaders in regular stats goes a long way with that also.

I've been successful with a trade once in my current league.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:That's boring.bodysnatcher wrote:i've been in the same league for 9 years now, and i think we've had maybe 4 trades ever
I think it was 2 seasons ago and it was Kelce for Dak & Fant.
The QB I drafted got knocked out for the year, maybe that was the year Big Ben's elbow exploded? I can't remember.

Re: Fantasy Football Discussion
Is it a PPR league?
Looks like the majority are leaning Lockett.
Maybe it depends on whether you need a solid floor or a high ceiling this week. Also, whether you think Russ will be back in form yet this week or not.

If PPR I’d lean Thielen. I think. He’s had an odd year.
