The ABC news story on the Turpin family, the ones the kept their kids chained up. What complete whack jobs those “parents” were.

Re: What are you currently watching on TV?
My wife proposed watching Wheel of Time tonight. We both read the books in the early 90’s, so ok.
What a hilarious pile of shit. The (re)writing, the directing, the effects…just terrible. No understanding of what made the source material work. It reminds me of when big budget movies turn out to be money laundering shells.
Ten million dollars an episode, and it might as well be a Sci Fi channel adaptation of a mobile game.

I caught an hour or so of this. So sad. Especially that girl that's now in her 30's but was so malnourished she looks like a little kidBiff Pocoroba wrote:The ABC news story on the Turpin family, the ones the kept their kids chained up. What complete whack jobs those “parents” were.

I'm sad to hear this but from what I saw of the trailers it definitely looked like a cheesy SyFy channel showMcParadigm wrote:My wife proposed watching Wheel of Time tonight. We both read the books in the early 90’s, so ok.
