Does anyone remember a joke from a tv show that's something along the lines of "I don't believe blimps are real because I've never met a blimp driver"?

Does that ring any bells? Anyone know what show that's from? I feel like maybe 30 Rock? But I can't find anything on Google.

That sounds like it would come from someone’s standup routine.

It does. But I don't watch stand up. That's why I was thinking maybe 30 Rock. Maybe even from Tracy's stand up in the show.

I feel like something personal is going on here. Maybe a bad experience at the theater when he saw it? Or an ex loves it and broke up with him with a quote from the movie?

Ha!

I mean I did have a bad experience at the theater because the movie was bad. But there's nothing more to it than that.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
