Decided I would pull the trigger on this, but see now that the choice is gone..... Oh well

Ditto - what the hell? Aren't these usually made to order (which is why they take so long to ship)?Rangi Guy wrote:Decided I would pull the trigger on this, but see now that the choice is gone..... Oh well
Oh well, I won't miss paying more for postage to Australia than the cost of the actual record.

I would guess the already had these pressed and ready - hence, pulling it down so soon. Would also help to explain why they "hoped" to ship so soon.

Yeah, that "hopeful" ship date is way sooner than they regularly ship these things.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Hey Brad, I'm always saying thanks for all the work you do on PJ comps, but never get a chance to do that properly - maybe I can this time. I ordered an extra from the UK store, would be happy to send it to you at cost plus (much more reasonable than 10c) shipping from the UK. Just let me know and I'll give you a shout when it arrives next year.ridleybradout wrote:Ditto - what the hell? Mine's coming on Wednesday. I think when Pearl Jam and UPS set up their deal, UPS gave them a contract that guarantees the slowest service and highest price.
I pay more to ship Ten Club packages than anything else I buy, and it sits in UPS world for weeks. But at least "Mail Innovations is not a day definite service."

No warping here. Plays great.
But they used to ship these in a cardboard tank. Now, just a vinyl mailer. A good one, but a step down.
