first two episodes in and its pretty good. not a whole lot of action per se but it really fleshes out both hawkeyes a bit more than the other series have their characters in the first two episodes and what they are going through

Kate Bishop's our first new Avenger in a D+ show, right?Peeps wrote:first two episodes in and its pretty good. not a whole lot of action per se but it really fleshes out both hawkeyes a bit more than the other series have their characters in the first two episodes and what they are going through

Surprised to say I really liked the first two episodes of this. Hailee Steinfeld has crazy charisma, and the Russian mobsters are hilarious

im reading through the series this is sort of based on and am pleasantly surprised. i had heard rave reviews of it but rarely take a review to heart on anything (movies, music, tv).

Yeah the first two were fun. Both renner and hailey were good and it also had some beautiful framing and photography

I'm not a Marvel fan, but I started watching this because I'm excited that Vera Farmiga is in it, and also that Hawkeye is finally deaf in MCU canon; add the Christmas aesthetic, and I'm kind of into it; I might see this one through till the end

I'm digging it. The fight sequences seem "off" somehow. Maybe a little too slow? Almost feels like the actors are doing all the stunts instead of actual stunt people. That may not be such a bad thing for realism's sake; not sure.

It reminds me of wrestling, but there’s a rookie who isn’t up to speed with the veteran and the spots look too choreographedEnsign9 wrote:I'm digging it. The fight sequences seem "off" somehow. Yeah, I think that's it. Every move looks too practiced.Mecca wrote:It reminds me of wrestling, but there’s a rookie who isn’t up to speed with the veteran and the spots look too choreographedEnsign9 wrote:I'm digging it. I haven't watched Loki but I like this the most out of the Disney+ Marvel shows. Like it more than most of the movies honestly. Hopefully it maintains.
