I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. Re: Ted Lasso: Believe
I didn't know he was a writer and producer on the show.Ted Lasso’s Goldstein Sets Warner TV Deal
Brett Goldstein, who plays the foul-mouthed Roy Kent in Apple TV+ smash hit series “Ted Lasso,” has signed an exclusive overall deal with Warner Bros. Television.
Goldstein will develop, create, write and produce new TV projects for the studio. Warners TV also produces “Ted Lasso” for Apple and Goldstein has penned multiple episodes of that show.
“Ted Lasso” star Jason Sudeikis has been open about a three-season plan for the series and, should it conclude, Goldstein is a natural fit for a potential spin-off.

Yeah, apparently they were having issues casting Roy for the show and they all just realized he would be perfect for the role.bada wrote:I didn't know he was a writer and producer on the show.Ted Lasso’s Goldstein Sets Warner TV Deal

Re: Ted Lasso: Believe
It would definitely be a different show. But make some slight adjustments in tone and I think it could really work. Really comes down to the writing team, I think.tragabigzanda wrote:i didn't know that either. Would be interested in a Roy spin off, but I'm not sure how well it would hold up without Ted
