Re: NHL Thread
i"m not sure that'd be good for the health of the players, esp in a season like this one.cutuphalfdead wrote:More than 5 minutes of overtime play.Fuck You Jobu wrote:What do you propose?cutuphalfdead wrote:Yeah, but still.Fuck You Jobu wrote:Sooo much better than a tie.cutuphalfdead wrote:I hate shootouts so much.
Also, the quality of the game I'd think would go down. IT's not like this is a playoff game where you find the energy or go home

Re: NHL Thread
I've watched like 75% of the minutes this season, and I really think they just might be. Even with a few nagging injuries early on to the D, they've been able to adapt with their young players (I really think Hamilton is going to be a star) and their top two lines keep getting very timely goals, like Horton's last night. If they cool down, we might have trouble. And with a small sample size, Rask is so far living up to expectations. Go Bruins!southp wrote:At least Seguin scored on the 2nd attempt too.Simple Torture wrote:Never seen a shootout goal called back because of something a fan threw on the ice. Looks like they're letting people from Revere come to Bruins games again.
So are the Bruins that good this season? I'm still expecting the NYR to lead the East but, but it's been a slow start.

They're not going into the shitter this year. They're only going to get better next week when Visnovsky joins the team. The only way they're going into the shitter is if Nabokov gets injured.lowlight79 wrote:Isles 4-2, gotta celebrate before we go into the shitter!

Not anyone above middleweight. He'd get his head handed to him by Scott. It'd be stupid for him or McQuaid to fight Scott, let MacDermid get his ass kicked.numbers wrote:right, because Lucic never fights anyone.

Got to see the Penguins skate at the Capital's facility this afternoon. Kinda hate Sidney Crosby a little less this evening.

I might be able to get to an E-bow.
