I'm telling you Len, The Town. He so effectively captures a specific sort of dude from Charlestown, one that's a far cry from who he seems to be in real life. He's the real deal, I just don't think he challenges himself enough with his roles.

I haven’t seen that in like ten years, but I do recall enjoying his role. And I probably am missing out a bit by not knowing anything about Charlestown.

I do agree on him not challenging himself in roles. I do think he brings a certain presence in most roles though that is very appealing.

Renner released a mobile app called "Jeremy Renner" (Android) and "Jeremy Renner Official" (iOS) in March 2017. The app was created by Escapex, a company that specializes in monetized apps for celebrities.[50]

FastCompany wrote extensively about Renner's app in April 2019, calling it "a surprising new kind of social media".[51] Discussing the self-referential nature of the app, The Ringer stated "Jeremy Renner's Jeremy Renner app is the Jeremy Renner of apps."[52]
