Jimmy Page-Great studio guitarist but was sloppy/inconsistent/on drugs live.

Bob Dylan-Great songwriter but can't sing. Went to one of his shows in the 90's and walked out after two songs. Couldn't understand anything he was singing.

Radiohead-Invented a new sound that may live on for centuries.

You missed Dylan in his prime. He’s all washed up!

Everyone instinctively knows Red Hot Chili Peppers exist, but no one actually lists them as their favorite band

Actually got to see them do a reunion show with the Roots as their backing band quite a few years ago at Roots Picnic. What an excellent show that was.

Returned a few years later to see the Roots do the same thing with Naughty By Nature.

I played Papa Roach on shuffle during my bike ride the other day, and yeah, they are really really terrible.

I am sorry for the sins of my youth.

I’m really into Everything Now now. I love how they just do whatever they want and make it work somehow.

I'll have to give it another spin. I really liked the song 'Creature Comfort'.

I haven’t listened to them in years. I am not sure how it happened but they were a band that no one had enduring patience for. We were all riding the wave on Funeral and Suburbs, and then Reflektor wasn’t great and they just fell off the map.
