Well I love it in both places. I think it's pretty essential to start GSMF off that way to help establish the happy grunge/genre inversion it's going for.

My appreciation of this song is rising. It's a good title track.

I always liked it, but apart from Sirens, it's got the most studio polish of any track so far. That's what was holding it back. But I'm starting to appreciate it fwiw.

Why does Ed pronounce "a" as "o-uh" in this? It annoys me.

the start of the outro music (after the 'they won't die with you' lyric) reminds me of electric church bells.
