She was working on a fictionalized Tiger King project for Peacock (see the synergy?). I can totally see her playing that bitch Carol Baskins, I assume that’s her role.

Should be an interesting watch tonight…

Musical guest pulled out, might get someone interesting to sub…

Jost opting out, rumored Tina Fey on Update…

No studio audience either, obviously.
I wonder how different it will be for the viewer? We’ll see.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

That was a lot different than expected but you know the show must go. Probably would have been a really fun episode.
It was neat to feel like you were sitting in on an Update rehearsal. I liked Pete’s piece too.
That’s an episode though that will go down in SNL lore.
Who knows when the next new one will be or if it will be like the quarantine episodes from a couple seasons ago?

Lorne says he’s hanging it up after the 50th season in a few years. Who takes over?

Apatow?

Fey?

Conan?

Kenan?

'Saturday Night Live' is ushering in its first 2022 episode, on Jan. 15, with 'West Side Story' star Ariana DeBose as host and Roddy Ricch as the musical guest.

I don’t know who either of those people are.
I have not seen any other hosts or musical guests listed yet.

Cold open, NBA on TNT were the only funny sketches in that whole ep.

I hate how much I enjoyed the bleachers performances. Sorry to trag on that one as well. Antonoff is a fucking clown and his whole shtick is kind of annoying but I also really enjoyed the songs. Ugh.

Eric Adams sketch went on way too long. Great performance by Redd but that thing went on about 5 minutes too much.

Pretty bad episode i think. Heidi Gardner is not funny at all.

This is a pretty common theme for most episodes … at least from what I gather during the occasional glance at this thread. Makes me wonder why so many of you still watch the show.
