- They really dragged out some of the dramatic moments. Fuck...I get it, everyone is sad. Next fight scene please.

- This movie is much more of a kid's movie than the usual MCU movie I think. The first half of this is like something out of a Disney Channel sitcom.

It will take me at least a year to make it to this one in conjunction with my Marvel watchathon. If I even make it that far.

I also thought it was funny that Ned and MJ conveniently stopped searching for more Peters after they found the two famous ones
The reason they stopped was they remembered that one spot he would go to for solitude. They weren’t specifically looking for more Peters.

Right. But you're about to take down 5 super-powered, extremely dangerous, bloodthirsty villains. You could use the help

What if Miles Morales squeaked through? He knew Peter was Spider-Man.

Yes. Spoiler tags should be dropped on release day. If you come into the thread before you see it, that's on you.

Dude if I met an alternate universe version of myself -- let alone two!!!! -- I'd have so many fucking questions. I'd be so fascinated to learn about every detail of alternate-universe-Jorge's life. I'd want to know everything.

I'm not saying they should've put this in the movie. I'm just a little stoned and this thought came to me.

They would just lie to you anyway, Jorge, no matter what questions you ask them. It doesn't matter who Peter Parker is. In every universe, Peter Parker is smart and heroic. In every universe, Jorge is mischievous and sociopathic

It's true. If they were me, they'd be as darkly, enthusiastically curious, they'd also want to know everything. But they'd also just want to lie about their own versions of Jorge life, just for fun. They'd say "oh actually I got way into gardening, I'm a botanist now" and the other Jorges would be like WOW (they're surprisingly gullible for people so naturally mendacious). So it'd probably just be a circle of lies. A lie circle

This was fun. I expected cameos from a lot of the characters/actors but I was really surprised that they were such major parts of the movie. I finally found myself enjoying Zendaya as MJ. I've never seen the Venom movies but based on that stinger the idea that the people that came up with that shit are now going to be making (I guess....maybe?) Spider-Man movies is soul crushing. To Burt's point my 11 year old LOVED this and told me he had to fight back tears 5 times. I told him me too buddy cause I'm father of the year.

While I agree the emotional beats lasted a bit too long each time, I found myself being moved by each one. A great coming of age story. The older Spider-Mans actually added a lot to this movie and further developed their own arcs. Could have easily just been cheap fan service.
