Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

There ought to be a law about how many trailers the theatre is allowed to play before the movie. They always do two too many. It's a bunch of trailers that people sit through quietly. Then one where they complain and seem perplexed that the movie hasn't started yet. Then one where they get angry and restless and start talking. And then continue talking over the beginning of the movie. It's up to twenty-five minutes of trailers recently around here, it's insane

Three is good. Gives me time to be a little late. And I like the trailers. But twenty five minutes is insane. A few weeks ago, I was at a theatre where the movie started thirty-two minutes after the scheduled start time. That should be a crime. Someone needs to pay for that
