The moment where Agent Smith "comes alive" is so good. The impish joy as he goes "MR. ANDERSON!!!". Groff really sold it

With the caveat that I’ve never been a Matrix fan (liked the first one, felt like it was a bit of a “for its moment” movie that didn’t age especially well, was bored to tears by the others), this was pretty good.

Watching #2 right now.

I feel like I need to watch them all before starting the new one. It is kind of jarring how cheesy the second one looks compared to the original. Definitely feels like the studio threw more money at it.

The Wachowskis definitely embrace camp more as they go on; plenty of unashamed humor and winks and nods to fans like me in the new one
