It's boring. Also, they don't speak to each other in English, so it'd just be a lot of bleeps and bloops

Re: Movie: Matrix Resurrections
Was the little robot the same one from this Animatrix short?

I cant find a picture of the one in the movie.
Probably not, but it would have been a cool addition.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

You have to watch it all to fully understand Trinity's child abuse.tragabigzanda wrote:I've decided I'm not even going to finish this. The first hour sucked so hard, and I've already forgotten most everything that wasn't Neo and Trinity in the coffee shop.

With the caveat that I’ve never been a Matrix fan (liked the first one, felt like it was a bit of a “for its moment” movie that didn’t age especially well, was bored to tears by the others), this was pretty good.

Watching #2 right now.
I feel like I need to watch them all before starting the new one. It is kind of jarring how cheesy the second one looks compared to the original. Definitely feels like the studio threw more money at it.

The Wachowskis definitely embrace camp more as they go on; plenty of unashamed humor and winks and nods to fans like me in the new one
