My wife’s co-worker is livid. He asked them (it’s a husband and wife who own the business) not to come in when they said they didn’t feel good but Covid is bullshit to them so they came in the prove a point. The co-worker’s wife is pregnant couldn’t get the shot the pregnancy is high risk for a bunch of reasons too long to get into plus my wife has a heart condition she’s high risk too. It’s pretty outrageous they risked peoples lives cause of their politics. The funny thing is they bought the business with the idea it’d run itself so they never come in but as soon as someone suggested they don’t come in cause of a Covid risk you bet your ass they showed up.

My wife told them she tested positive but most of her symptoms are gastrointestinal. Her boss said it’s probably just a stomach bug. I get them not being willing to admit they put the office at risk for legal reasons or whatever but wow are they tone deaf.
