Why not? I still not that into the song, hoping it gains strength in concert, but I'd rather hear Sirens than Maroon 5 or the latest Miley trainwreck.
I don't listen to the radio so I won't listen to any of them. The reason I don't want this to be a hit is that however much I like it, I don't want it to be the blueprint for future songs. I don't want PJ to have huge commercial success with BoB on board.
I hope it is a monster hit because I like when people are listening to my favorite band

Sure, thats nice and all but people who come on board for "Sirens" are not going to share my love for evacuation, light years, who you are, hail hail, the fixer ;), unemployable, brain of j....
Sirens would not be my first choice for a hit, mind you, but when a casual at best listener emails me to tell me he 'fucking loves sirens' I don't really care :)

That and I don't want them going out with "Last Kiss" being their biggest chart-topper.

the "studio" version of Last Kiss is great especially "hold meeeeee darling just a little while..."

Ed sounds perfect there.

FTFY

We are talking about the only modern rock band at least 75 four star originals.

Yeah, Last Kiss is nowhere near as cliched or sentimental as this. It's also a cover.

I love that version. I really wish PJ had taken the opportunity to do a record like that had some point in their careers. I'm not sure if they're that great on a song-by-song basis to do it anymore, but maybe.
