Funnily enough, ACDCs first single was the poppy "Can I Sit Next to You Girl" with Dave Evans on lead vocals. It is an absolute outlier in their catalogue and on no way sounds like the "classic" ACDC standard riffage and metronomic rhythm guitar sound that we all love so much.

yeah i have no problem with that, i love that song. i might like the unplugged version the best. 'on a plain' works too. but as far as 'cultural influence' its teen spirit, hands down.
