i think keefe is fucking hilarious. i laugh every time he's on screen. the whole cast is great.

i also love uncle billy. the scene where eli is holding the vandals at gunpoint, and makes them strip, and billy pokes and slaps them with the little mannequin arm...i was dying.

So I thought they were heading a certain direction with Papa Gemstone (they still might be) but I'm happy with how the second episode actually ended:

I thought they might be projecting that he is going to die so the kids can take over. That would immediately jump the shark for me because Goodman carries this show when the Danny McBride humor gets to be too much. Hoping now they are just going in the direction of dad and kids are all in it together to cover up a murder.

the whole cast is great. I like Jesse in doses, but Judy is by far the funniest. I’m pretty sure I’ve caught McBride nearly breaking in scenes with her.
