That was a fun episode.

I’m fairly sure I can see where this is headed.

A far superior episode. Mando quality. The train reminded me of Solo.

Really good ep. I didn’t think I wanted wall to wall sand people culture immersion but it’s great.

I’m waiting for an eventual reveal of what the tuskens look like. I’m envisioning Jason Momoa, Javier Bardem, and Timothee Chalamet.

That Wookiee bounty hunter was in the Aphra comics

God knows who we’re gonna see in this.

Obviously the Hutts are gonna bring an army and Fett is gonna call on the Tuskens for back up. It’s a little obvious so I might be wrong. But boba fetts list of allies would hardly be a long one really

How are they gonna deal with this in the obi wan series?
It’s set ages before this and kenobi is there to protect Luke.
Will they even feature?

I think I disagree. As B has justifiably complained, the best thing about Boba Fett - his mystique - has been stripped away. Any Boba Fett show is going to do that, but if they’d just keep the helmet on, it wouldn’t be so bad. For the majority of these episodes he looks like fucking Kojak in long underwear. I’m mildly surprised it doesn’t have the two button assflap.

RM, I’m shallow. I want my protagonists to look bad ass. This Boba looks like an old fart. Boba Fartt.

That was pretty good. The Hutt twins were great and the whole train thing was cool too. I even like the sand people accepting him into the tribe.

Yeah, he has lost the mystique but they are giving us a different kind of bad ass Boba Fett. I was perfectly fine with Fett in ESB and ROTJ and what he brought has a background character. And that being the end of the character.

I’ll just watch and enjoy some of it and maybe not enjoy some of it. That mayor’s assistant has got to go. Ugh. Ithorian mayor was sweet with the translator doohickey

I 100% agree that Boba needed some amount of mystery. I wish that was the only problem.

Better than, say, Picard, but very, very tired. Often reaches a level of stupid that makes you laugh out loud when you’re supposed to be impressed. Nothing was worth the time it took to watch.

Weird responses. What did you all think this show was going to be?
They explained pretty clearly you’re going to get backstory and where he’s been in the mean time after events in ROTJ. I think you’re all jumping the gun a little early with the criticism.
That episode was clearly setting up what’s to come with dealing with the crime lords and hutts of it all. It’s only the second episode. Settle down.

You won’t believe this. But I’ve just moved into a new place. And there’s a donkey nearby and he makes himself heard every half hour or so. But yeah they do sound like that.
The sounds of Star Wars book by Rinzler is one of the harder to find books. And a sad gap in my reference library. I’m sure it’s in There though.

Hmm

Not sure what to think. First episode was kind of dumb. Second was a bit better.

We'll see.

And there’s been very little in the way of backstory. Just the occasional shot of little kid Fett making a ponderous face. His mystery up until the time we “met” him in Empire is still intact other than what Lucas had already revealed.
