Fun fact to justify the bump: I am notoriously lazy about learning other people's songs, and will often make drastic changes simply because I want to (see: changing a song called Happy, of all things, to a minor key earlier in this competition). Intro and outtro pieces are especially likely to get slaughtered, altered, or replaced.

Now, I have no actual recollection of every playing Child for a Day, but that intro part in this recording has been eating at me. It seemed so goddamn familiar...I just couldn't place it. I finally figured out last night that it's a little ditty I'd played around with for a few months a while back and then eventually offered to a company that produces background music for things like training videos (I think I made $20 or something).

So it's entirely possible that one day, sometime soon, you could be in a doctor's office watching a video on what contracting genital warts will mean for your life moving forward, and suddenly think to yourself "Hey, shit....isn't that Diggum doing Child for a Day?"

Vote for No Excuses. That sounded really cool, especially the chorus. It just needs some bongos in the background. 8-)
I might be able to get to an E-bow.

Thanks. If you record enough garbage, every now and again you'll accidentally do something right, I think.

You're from Omaha. You should track down Laura Burhenn and record some shit with her.

I decided to vote for porchball. I thought both songs were good, but I feel like I've heard what McP has to say (which has been great), and I still think porchball might surprise me.

On the other hand I may regret this because I consistently like every McP song more than I expect I will.

Hey I remember this. You did a great job on the music and I can hear all the effort you put in to make those vocals half way usable. It would have been great if I could have sang it better. Don't think I ever did find the right key. Sort of song you think is easy to sing till you actually try it. Cool piano!

Okay, sorry that I didn't get to this. Looks like McP takes this one 5-4.

This means we have our final match. Kevin Davis vs. McP. Get me songs as soon as you can!
