Eddie Vedder - Earthling

When a band is but a fraction of Pearl Jam, but they aren't zero Pearl Jam.

That sounded like just another conveyer belt mid-tempo Vedder rocker.

I listened to The Haves once and have had no desire to go back but liked this clip. Still nice to get some new music, although my expectations aren’t super high.

Please note, due to supply chain issues, Deluxe CD & vinyl formats will not be available to ship until June 2022.

A free digital download would be the right thing to do.

This snippet is from the track "On My Way", right?
It syncs to the track reveal in the video...

Anyway, glad that we are just a month away from it.

The font on this project bothers me the same way the font on the self titled album bothered me. It's like a standard MS Word font or something. Like zero thought put into it.

Yeah, it makes me hope it's somehow the one 4.5/5-star song we're getting with this album.

The snippet is from Brother the Cloud.

https://www.spin.com/2022/01/eddie-vedd ... rack-list/
A short snippet of “Brother the Cloud” can now be heard on Vedder’s YouTube channel. The intensely personal track will no doubt invite speculation as to its subject, as Vedder sings, “I had a brother but now my brother is gone / I search the sky for a glimpse of his blue eyes.” The chorus finds him at the top of his vocal register as he pleads, “If I could wish / wish it away / I would bleed out my knees and pray / these are but dreams / as sad as it seems.”

"... will no doubt invite speculation as to its subject"

"I had a brother but now my brother is gone"

this sounds complex and mysterious, any takers?

He was my brother
And he now is dead
And his eyes were blue
And for a spell in the 90s
he had a really thin mustache,
the kind that made him look
a bit like John Waters
