Have we worked out what ed is "bearing witness to" "sombre days ??"

They brought him somebody else's order. He defiantly insists that they get it off of his plate.

I think he mutters "plebe" afterwards, as well.

It was for most of the set. Ed was really hoarse and the ballads suffered. IIRC, he really struggled with "The End".
The thing I remember most from it was one of the better versions of Inside Job(I know, I know) that I've heard.
It's a patchy show - Amongst the Waves was awful and the End wasn't great either. Red Mosquito is always fun with BH.
While a Western guitar motif lost on the swings drum bass fusion, get your own thoughts into the subconscious often forgotten. "Pendulum" is a sweeping soul from the ballast.

Ed's vocal delivery on this puppy is monstrous... Especially on the "it's alright" lines.

This, in a different way than Sirens, is one of eds finest vocals ever.

It's like a young Eddie vedder but with a mastery and full ownership and control of his voice.
It's huge when it needs to be but crafted carefully. Muscular without being brawny.

It's bloody great.

Then and only then, will we believe you.

I almost feel like this could have been on Riot Act. At least musically.
Eds vocal has far more energy and 'willingness to be there' on this though, if that makes sense.

Whopper tune.

Yup. There's a real Riot Act link here.

I can see that, I guess. It has a little of that awkwardness that sometimes infused Riot Act, in the first half, too.
