you ever drink a few beers while listening to pearl jam? well now you get to drink beers and hear the guys who make that music. never a thumbsdown.
 = seeing guys make the music with beer

 = 3rd choice
If you have decent seniority, I really don't see the difference between sitting in the reserved field seats and standing in the back of the GA, save for the fact that you don't have to line up 3 hours before gates open and don't have to fight your way in and out every time you want a beer or have to use the bathroom.
No difference? If it's all the same to you then, swap tickets?

1. GA --Lost
2. Lower--Lost
3. Upper--Lost

I live in chicago, my member number is 132xxx, so this lottery sure has helped a long time member get tickets to a hometown show! glad my $40 membership fee gets me a tshirt

Awesome!

I put London as #1 since it's indoor and holds only 9000 (second most intimate show in 4 years?) and I think we are more likely to get a Benny-type acoustic set. I had Chicago Lower as #2, GA as #3, and Upper as #4 and lost all those.

I wonder, did anyone win both shows?

That sucks man and <your preferred deity> help us when Northeast US tour dates show up. But I'm sure you can get into the show if you get to the venue and talk to people. I went to Missoula with a ticket at the top of a section 3/4 of the way back and moved up significantly by finding a 10c'er with an extra fan club ticket in the lot before the show. As much as a bag of dicks as we are online, PJ fans can be pretty cool in person*.

*excluding the merch line. I am fucking done with that.

It just seems so weird that the general opinion is "new system is worse for me, therefore system is bad" without any other considerations. I think the new system is fairer and simpler, but is going to probably lessen the chances for individual members to get tickets. Is it so hard to acknowledge both of those concepts?

And then those idiots who think their circa 200BC fanclub membership should entitle them to a better chance of tickets than someone who joined recently, despite the ticketing seniority never having worked that way before. But it totally should in this specific instance where I missed out on tickets!

it's like 40,000 (with the bleachers and outfield seats that presumably will not be available).

With the field opened up for GA...yeah, its a pretty big show. I'd be surprised if it sells out, actually.
