I'd like to remind everyone that PJ are also fully-grown adults, getting handsomely paid for what they do. They don't need Internet white knights sticking up for them. They do what they want to do, and their fans will have opinions on the products they release. Well, the ones still allowed to utilise independent thinking will. It's fine. Live and let live.
Is there anyone on any post saying u can't have an opinion on the band? Some people just have different opinions. Live and let live? Someone who posts 12000 mainly negative posts on a board about the fricking thing the board is about does have much of a life to live. And if anyone doesn't accept peoples opinions it's you. Stick your withering responses up your cake hole.

Peace out... Fuck off and sharpen your knives for when this thing drops, I have a feeling you won't like the album anyway. Laters
This was the kind of post I was referring to:

If we can't have a conversation about why this kind of post is ridiculous, at least let's not resort to fucking insults and being a general dickhead, like you do here.
Funny thing about that post is that is actually very reductive of Stone's strong points.

Well, yeah. "I won't let any of you shit on the band, but I sure as hell have every right to make assumptions about your fandom and generally insult you as a fellow fan! Pearl Jam, Kat, Sea and the Ten Club have all bestowed upon me that right!"

(I haven't: I don't drink hot drinks. And that makes me stronger than you).

I blame Pearl Jam for everything that just happened.

What a stupid band.

Can't wait to catch up after my shower.

What I'm getting so far is:
1. Everything since Ten has been contrived.
2. Pearl Jam apologists are too sensitive and comically hypocritical

I'm sure I'm missing something.
There's the dog. You can't fake that stuff. Confess with your mouth.

The second song on No Code was originally called Hail Huell.
While a Western guitar motif lost on the swings drum bass fusion, get your own thoughts into the subconscious often forgotten. "Pendulum" is a sweeping soul from the ballast.

Its not a conversation man, you're on each topic running the music down. If you went off the band after Riot Act or whatever, some people came onto this board recently to get buzzed about a new album which doesnt happen so often. The stalwarts on this board are like 'oh, we have to put up with fans... this place is about communication and democracy...we're the RM...' Its not, really its not... this is for fans. You and your ilk are the passive agressive, borderline personalities, who must have very little control in their own lives because they need to exert it here instead. Seriously change your posting name to 'General Dickhead'... its so fitting and you came up with all on your own... me, I preferred you're earlier stuff...

I honestly think you've got the wrong guy, man. You've not caught my thousands of posts gushing about Sirens and three of the leaked songs? You want to check my postcount; I wouldn't have got to 10,000 posts before anyone else if all I posted was negative. Seriously. I do sometimes post negative things, but that's because I'm a human being with ears and the ability to process what I hear critically.

Arghhh in a dutch interview with brendan o'brien, he said he love to make pearl jam songs with hit potential. He is trying to push eddie in that way, but he won't. "When eddie gets the feeling that a song have som hit potential, he wants to stop with it immediately"

Short interview with B'OB on LB.

Main points:

-He wants them to be more radio friendly. But the band won't :)
-In the first LB sessions a couple of harder tracks were recorded but didn't make the cut (I imagine 'Ole' being one of them)
-Stone was much more on the foreground, involved, for the LB sessions. He likes that about PJ. He said their roles are always changing.

Guess we know who wears the pants there, then.

But both sides of that coin are a little extreme. Bob wants to sacrifice quality and longevity for a hit, and Eddie wants to sacrifice accessibility for a statement. Middle ground here is best, with a few outliers either side.

Does that review call Eddie a "Douche" or Brendan?

Really? It sounds to me that middle ground is watered-down PJ.
