Well it can also be a silly discussion because unless we can pick apart each of these players actual guitars then who fucking knows what electronics and mods they have in them. No?

Ibanez guitars are ugly as shit, sorry bruh.
Their basses are even uglier. Headstocks look fucking awful. We've been over this!

Adrian Belew's shows with Talking Heads are legendary, no doubt.

The fact that you can get SRV's buttery bluesy tones to some of the best punk rock shit out of them .....strats are pretty cool, guys.

i think fenders in general are pretty unforgiving. You can't really hide behind much with them. Theyre fun to play.

Did SRV have a custom bridge installed to handle those heavier gauge strings?

I don't know, but Fenders back in the 50s/60s used to ship with 12-52 strings as standard.

The normal Strat bridge should handle heavier gauges without breaking a sweat.

I don't really think about SRV at all.

He also tuned down 1/2 step so that probably eases some tension with 13 gauge

But his string action was like a half inch from the fret board.

They’re all the same and a great player can make a trash heap guitar sound good.

I keep browsing guitars and they’re all over my FB feed so kinda hard to avoid.

I want to just pull the damn trigger on a Fender jaguar and be done with it. Maybe I can stop window shopping at that point. But I don’t feel worthy. Yet.

Anyone have a BeatBuddy or Beatbuddy mini 2?

These look like a bit of fun.

I have been thinking about getting this for quite some time, i was not aware it came in small pedal form.

Seems to get great reviews.
