I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I have that same exact issue with the original Total Recall. Except it's four times.

Mr Fox is unassailably excellent.

I’ll never understand the lack of enthusiasm for Darjeeling. Probably his least Anderson-esque (excluding Bottle Rocket), and he really tackles the latent absentee dad/misogynistic outgrowth motifs of his earlier movies head-on. There’s a vitriol to this one that isn’t in his other stuff and it really stands out to me.

Christopher Walken movie The Dogs of War. One of those movies I remember seeing on the wall at the local Video Shack in the 80's that I'd always say I'll rent that next time and never did. There had to be a dozen actors I recognized and then spent the rest of the movie trying to remember from where.
