Eliminating and placing vowels is very helpful to me. Guess that’s how my brain works.

I'm going back to RENTS.

I'm not a big fan of starting with the 's' in the five spot. The game doesn't seem to have any plurals as the five letter word, from what I recall so far. So the S could still land there, but maybe not.
I've also moved away from the idea that starting with a lot of vowels as a preference

I like to save S and Y as final letters, since those can become more apparent as you progress. My first guess rotates but it's usually something like STEAK or HEATH.

i like y as the final letter, but like someone said before, i consider putting the s as the last letter a complete waste considering they don't seem to do plurals of four-letter words.

Well, I couldn't have worked on that for a while, but it's much easier to make the internet tell me the answer.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

my “nasty proud chief” probing system brought me quick success today. Didn’t even need the chief.

It'd be cool if this was timed. Typing those 3 words would give you a 4 guess minimum most days, but I bet you solve it faster than most people.
