Wow. I'm genuinely excited about this album on the strength of these two tracks. They both feel pretty Panda-heavy, which is a good thing to my ears.

I devoured Merriweather and everything that came before it back in the day but have long since fallen off. Really nice to hear these guys lock into something with a listenable mid-tempo groove while keeping the elements that make their songs so exciting.

Aw, hell yeah! The first Constellation release of the year has just been announced; out in just over a month (February 18) is Eric Chenaux's 7th album with the label, Say Laura. Consisting of five long songs, this new record continues to chart the stylistic development and advancement that Chenaux has been threading over the last decade. I heard versions of some these new tunes in a concert that was livestreamed last year, and I can this record is going to be quite a treat. Right now a five minute edit of the title track is available for streaming on Bandcamp, though Spotify has the full 7:24 thing.

You might also like Avey's most recent solo album, Cows on Hourglass Pond. It's got a similar trippy mid-tempo vibe to it.

Camp Cope have a new album coming out March 5th - Running With the Hurricane. Yay!

Here's the single of the same name. Not totally sold from first listen but let's see where it goes. I do love the bass line but.

At one point in my life Beach House were a solid top-five band for me but I listened to that first EP and was so bored.

Really looking forward to the upcoming Sticky Fingers. Their last album was pretty bad but the singles from the new one are promising.

Think I’m going to try being kind to everyone a chance.

Not that I'm aware of.

But if there were, I'd let y'all know about in this thread in the proper way (will all available details). I wouldn't just post a YouTube video of some random song and leave it at at that.

Nothing. Ignore me. I'm the guy who posted un-spoilered lists in 2020. I have no right to tell others what to do.

Thanks for the rec.

After you sharing these two tracks, I threw on Strawberry Jam to see if it still clicked. It did, more or less, and I found myself having a newfound appreciation for Avey's performance on "For Reverend Green." The 1-2-3 punch of Chores>Reverend Green>Fireworks is so good.

I know there’s not a lot of love for Grizzly Bear here, but I don’t care.

Daniel Rossen, one of the members of the former band, is putting out an album this year, and I tend to lean more on his GB contributions. Christopher Bear, the GB drummer is featured on this track. Not sure if he’s on the whole album. It’s good to hear Rossen’s voice again. It sounds like a GB tune, but I like it.
