A good friend of mine, that I’ve been to the cinema with 100+ times, also hates it. But she loves Kingsman, which I hate.

I find putting this kind of list together really challenging, for some reason. More than albums.

I wouldn't be able to do it if I didn't have a starting list of every movie I watch and a sub-set of those which I've marked as "favorites"

I rank every movie I see on IMDB, and if I own it, I also rank it on iCollect. Makes it easier to sort.

It's a personal choice anyway. I have fun doing it, and have been doing it for close to 20 years.

I just have a running word doc for movies I watch each year. Much simpler than any of these platforms. If I can't remember how much I liked it then I didn't like it that much did l.

I've been using the site icheckmovies.com since 2009, and IMDb before that. I send them one euro a month and download a csv to my hard drive then save it in the cloud. I'm covered
I started a letterboxd a couple months ago but I didn't like it as much as the site I'm using now

Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
