It’s so ridiculous that Ortiz gets in while Bonds and Clemens fall off the ballot. One had an agreeable personality that the media liked, while the other two did not.

Wasn’t someone talking about him coming back to break one last record, that being beating all 32 teams, having not beaten the Pats yet? I swear that conversation happened.

It couldn't have hurt Tampa Bay's chances to sign him in '20 knowing he would play New England in Foxboro in '21.
