It hasnt been around for long, but as far as I can tell crypto is roughly correlated with the stock market. It's not a hedge.

though it's generally viewed as a hedge because it's "immune to inflation." Obviously it gets more complicated the deeper you dive, but that's the theory anyway, and it seems to drive a lot of investors.
Yeah that's the popular theory, but I saw where someone pointed out that it wasn't really working out that way, and it looks like he was right.

To make money on cryptocurrency, it is necessary to follow all world events. Every statement of an official or a big entrepreneur can negatively affect the value of crypto.
