TV: Yellowstone

Is anyone besides me watching Yellowstone beyond the pilot? I'm consumed by this show's themes lately.

Kevin Costner plays a convincing morally questionable patriarch. I didn't think he had it in him.

Ryan Bingham's character is a little bitch though. He should stick to singing.

MD, dad, Trag, or anyone really. What exactly is it about Yellowstone that makes you not want to dive it?

On a scale of Lost to Dexter how much do you think I’d enjoy it?

I've never seen Dexter but Josh Holloway is in Yellowstone S3.

For it's subject matter.

The trailers I've seen don't appeal.

And Kevin Costner.

I imagine Dan Jenkins as Ben Horne if Horne wasn't successful. Oh well. I guess we'll always have Twin Peaks, you and I.

:heartbeat:

The show might be great. I don't want to rain on your parade. I'm glad you're digging it. Just doesn't seem like something for me based on what little advertising I've seen. Maybe I'll get around to it one day and we can revisit this convo.

I don't know if I'd call it great. I just want to talk with someone about it but no one on RM seems to want to give it a try!

Mostly the trailers/clips I've seen and the tastes of the people in my circle who rave about it. There's so much TV out there, so that's enough to turn me off.

I just meant it's hard to find people that want to talk with me about the stuff I want to talk about when I'm ready to talk about it.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
