Really liking what I'm hearing about Horizon Forbidden West being an improvement in almost every conceivable way over the first game.

Are you going with Horizon or Elden Ring?

Horizon first. I'll start Elden Ring when there are more wikis/guides out there.

I'm buying both and absolutely going Horizon first. I recently blazed through Zero Dawn's story campaign to get ready. I'm ready. IGN's hands on preview this week is pretty encouraging and the recent videos look pretty stunning.

So now Sony buys Bungie for 3.6B, which is wild for one studio that has only worked on one game for 10 years. Bungie says they’re staying multiplatform and Sony says more acquisitions coming.

Everyone seems to be buying up studios in hopes of keeping Amazon, Google, and others out.

Anyone planning to try out Dying Light 2? It drops this Friday. I'm on the fence...

I want to see reviews first. They’ve shown like zero gameplay…

I keep hearing some buzz about it, but I cannot recall anything about the original. Will probably wait for reviews.

Ok yeah same re the reviews. I think the reviews drop a day before release (also sometimes a red flag)

Dying Light 2 reviews are dropping. General consensus is its fun and massive but buggy. I’ll probably wait on it.

Yup, definitely glad I waited for reviews on this one. Will wait and check this out when it's significantly discounted and patched up. I've got enough on my plate this month with Uncharted, Horizon, and Elden

With the free upgrade to the PS5 version of Horizon, is there any reason to buy the PS5 version?

Nope. I think I saw an IGN article calling that out (save $10 if you're a PS5 owner). I also think I read that any future PS5 upgrade will be around $10 (like GoW). Originally I think the HFW upgrade was around $10 when pre orders were announced, but they reversed that decision and made it free after abrupt fan backlash.

In the least surprising news of the year, GTA VI is in development.
