This post from you reminds me...

I think I'd put A Band Apart over Breathless. 400 Blows would beat out both if it came to it though.
I haven't seen any of them in years, but I suspect I'd still put the two Godard over 400 Blows. And I loved Band of Outsiders, the scene of them dancing in the cafe is still vivid in my mind. I wouldn't be surprised if I ranked that above Breathless, too

I love westerns, and that’s a good movie. I’ve always felt westerns needed to be about the 19th century American west, or at least the American west/frontier. Although you are certainly in the majority on that one.

What would not be on it?
how many more movies are there than 25?

I have a much looser definition of what is a western. For instance I consider Black '47 to be a western and it takes place in Ireland. Its has all the hallmarks though.

No other movies ever made that deserve to be in the same category so this thread is really a list of your 3rd through 27th favorite movies.
Well, nothing has changed here since 2014.

Did B post his list? I don’t know how he possibly could, considering there are like at least 40 Avengers movies now.

I strongly considered answering Braveheart for Lenny's "what movie wouldn't make it to your top 25" query.

Haha that may very well be true. I probably haven’t watched it in 20 years.

Still love it though.

I believe it. But I didn't like it when it was first in theaters. I can't imagine how much I'd hate it now.

It’s not perfect, but it’s a pretty good movie.

It's in my "must revisit" list. I used to really love it but haven't seen it in 15 years
