Does it hurt seeing Stafford in a Super Bowl with another team? Or is that not really something that gets to you?

But there were at least three just absolutely obvious, any idiot watching football knows you can't do that, plays where flags should have been thrown and were not. The Mixon play is a potential fourth. I'm not saying it would have been ruled a fumble. But to not look at it?

Again, that's not why the Chiefs lost. But that is a shenanigan and I think even if you're not a fan of either team you'd be in favor of that shit not happening.

i think most fans (including me) are very happy for matthew stafford. he wasn't going to win with detroit. and the last thing we wanted was to put a potential HOF'er into early retirement like the lions did with Calvin Johnson and Barry Sanders with nothing to show for it. trading him only made sense. it turned out to be a win/win for both teams.

I like that perspective. That's how I think I'd feel in that situation as well. It's certainly how I felt when Tony G wanted out of a rebuild in KC.

Thanks, it's tough to read through this level of cope but I'm pretty well versed.

Anyway this isn't the conversation I wanted to have today when really what everyone should be talking about was that just blisteringly awesome CBS half-time broadcast.

What time to be alive!

There was some country-pop concert happening on the field in the stadium. But CBS set up their talking heads RIGHT in front of a stack of speakers. So you couldn't hear a fucking thing anyone was talking about! They just kept trying to scream over the music but they couldn't hear each other and we couldn't hear them. At one point Boomer was just said, "Whatever, I can't hear you!" and just kinda stopped participating.

It was hilarious.

And I'd also forgotten how shitty the sound was during the anthem, too. Ashanti's mic wasn't on at the start and then cut out several times.

Fucking CBS was a train wreck yesterday.

its always a train wreck when Nantz has to call either a chief or brady game..his lips are wrapped tight around their w*eners and the only bright spot is that romo is 6 drinks in during the 3 quarter...my rant is over

You posted the Mixon clip!
*sigh*

When I woke up this morning I hadn't seen that discussion and my intent was to come in here and talk about the other stuff. Then my friends and I had a text chat about the Mixon thing and so I posted it as a different conversation piece.

Now that we've talked about that, I'm ready to get back to the thing I wanted to talk about when I got up today.
