I felt the choice was odd too at first. But Luke’s been forced to make such choices since we’ve known him. So it’s true to character for him but also just makes sense. There’s no point in teaching the child who already seems completely distracted, if he doesn’t want to be taught and his mind is still off with mando.
I’m thinking we’re gonna see him speak sooner than we thought.
Fuck me there was so much to love in that episode.
The temple flashback was amazing.
Sleuths are already trying to figure out who the Jedi are and whose saber it is we see in shot
But so much in there. Just brilliant.
I loved the episode, but not sure the choice was logical. Feel like Luke and Grogu has only known each other for a short time, and Grogu is very early in his training. It felt like me asking my daughter if she would rather see my mother, or my wife's mother, and whoever she didn't choose, she probably would never meet again.
But perhaps this is why Luke ultimately failed with his project.

This was a choice never given to any Jedi / padewan.
They were all taken and no going back. So he’s already changing it up a little by offering the
Choice. I think it makes sense.
Holy cow. Great despite George Lucas quality dialogue.
The Luke effects are so much better than last season. Improve it by another 10-15% and you can safely make a Jedi Academy series. The voice needs a little work. It felt detached and sounded like a shaky impression of Hamill at times. Overall, though, it was great. All of the feelings I wished I’d had during his reveal last season bubbled up through a well of nostalgia and hit me right in the feels when he and Grogu were first shown. Total immersion.
Cad. Motherfuckin’. Bane.

Something is being filmed in London too nobody knows what it is.
Could be that.
Shoutout to those meth-smoking Jawas for mounting the krayt dragon skull on their crawler. Love those furry, little bastards. (Calling it now: Jawas are drugged out Ewok exiles. Give me THAT series.)

I wonder if the conceit of the Kenobi show will be Ashoka and Luke having conversations about the past as bookends for the episodes.
The door is also open for Luke to meet Ghost Hayden.
I’ve long wished for exactly that scenario in whatever form.
The fact she says just like your father suggests they’ve already had that chat though.
Sadly.
The bomb in the bar is a taste of what’s coming I think
Will boba even make it out? Give him a noble end doing heroic shit maybe that’s why they’ve kept him low key the last few episodes
