Also cool that his design allows the same voice actor to play him in live- action (unlike, Ahsoka).

Oooh a Luke v maul and fett v bane showdown!
Nah Maul's dead dead.
Pfft! That dude survived being cut in half and thrown down a bottomless pit, and we're just supposed to believe that a lightsaber stab finished him off?
Again, B, I don't know how many times we have to discuss this... you gotta start looking at things thematically. You're always so literal.
Themes only last as long as the money does.
No, you're right. Every Star Wars fan out there is threatening to quite because Maul is dead. It's really the only complaint anyone has!
:D Oh, they'll be a point where they're out of fresh ideas and out of money and Disney's not gonna care how perfectly Maul's death wrapped up anyone's story arc.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

For a guy who collects funko pops, picture books, lyric books, and photo viewer toys - you sure are salty about Star Wars

I appreciate this stubborn cynic take.

But I've already agreed that it isn't impossible. But there are so many factors (outside of story and theme) that make it a real unlikely scenario. But, yes, you and strat are right. It could happen. I'm sure you'll be thrilled when it does so you can keep complaining about this thing that you say you like. Do you though? I don't know, maybe I'm just being cynical.

I'm just as jaded about Pearl Jam as I am about Star Wars.

My childhood is for sale, I might as be one of the people who buys it.

I'm sure I'll get a little "I told you so" thrill, but I'll be just as sad as you if they bring him back to life.

Can you really say I told you so when someone else said it first and then another person agreed?

Whatever. We have a Maul thread -- isn't there a new animated Maul series coming?

Let's talk about this episode of Boba Fett some more! :bammer:

Man, it would be a real waste if Cobb Vanth is gone. Such a cool character and such an iconic actor. Fingers crossed he makes it.

That's what I'm talking about!

So fucking great to see him in live-action. And I really can't wait to see him and Boba... um, ... reconnect.

Filoni directed this episode. He also directed Ahsoka's episode of Mando S2. We know he's super protective of the character. So with Rodriguez directing the finale of Boba Fett, is it fair to assume Ashoka WON'T be in it? Is Filoni ready to let another hand guide his beloved character?

I'm assuming Filoni will write all of the Ahsoka series. Be interesting to see if he directs every episode, too.
