Parallel Mothers was truly great. It made me cry about seven different times for about eighteen different reasons. Amazing. It was like a melodrama, but populated with adult characters who don't do stupid and emotionally childish things just to move the plot forward and cause drama. Truly beautiful movie.

Still watching. Fairly easygoing pace. Very grounded.

Only Lovers Left Alive.

I have seen every Jarmusch movie but this one, The Limits Of Control and the last one. Im not sure why i havent seen this one before, but i liked it a lot.
Specially the first half with the two of them in the car in those scary, empty Detroit roads.

i hated this movie

I should clarify that i didn’t technically watch this movie. my coworker was watching at work & i was able to ignore about 40 percent of the dialogue.

I stayed up late re-watching Prisoners (2013) tonight, and before I go to sleep I just wanted to note how much this one had gotten mixed around in my head with True Detective season 1 (2014). I kept expecting things to happen that never did, which I'm now realizing were actually part of True Detective or maybe just some weird mish mash of the two which only exists in my head

This one disappointed me. Jake G was great as always, but man I hated Hugh Jackman.
And they say that a hero could save us

Be interested to hear what you think about Titane. I thought it was overhyped

Oh interesting. I thought you were comparing it to Marvel films.
