I guess I don't really know the difference between all of the techniques but as I understand it this isn't really de-aging. Deep fake is a bit different, right?

Do I need to finish Mando before I start to watch this?

You don't need to but I would recommend doing so.

I don't know why a person who wants to watch BoBF wouldn't have already watched Mandalorian.

You may or may not get lost, but your enjoyment will suffer w/o Mandalorian.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

There's a lot of Boba bashing, so I'll just say officially that I like this series. I think most have it has been better than large parts of Mando.

I know you are smarter than this so forgive me, but take away this weeks episode, do you really feel that way??

I honestly just dont think much has happened in this show as far as boba fett is concerned? Yea, some cool stuff about Tuskan Raiders but other than that im not sure much has really happened?

I don't know why this isn't just Mandalorian, Season 3 with 4 Boba Fett episodes. We all thought the Mandalorian was going to be Boba Fett when they announced it anyhow.

Yes, I do. The first three episodes were great. The fourth was interesting and well done if a little redundant. These last two have been me favorites of the series so far but I actually like this way more than all of Mando S1 and more than a lot of S2.

But my gauge for this stuff isn't just "how much happened." Which might be why I like the ST more than others, too, come to think of it.

To each their own!

I enjoy the ST but I think fett is lacking in writing, Fx, and story.

The first episode was ok at setting up the show. I loved the second episode, but I don’t think they built on it very well. The third episode was poor, and the fourth was a bit like the first, just ok. The last two episodes so far (5 and 6), have been great. But those have hardly featured Boba at all.

I guess this clears it up:
I thought it was Hamill with mocap dots on his face and painstakingly de-aged. The truth is a little creepier but kinda cool

People will complain no matter what I guess.
Mark was performing in that mando finale And here in this episode.

Wish these guys would do even basic research

The writing and the vfx have been on par with Mando, I think.

People are forgetting the pandemic.

They shot all this during the pandemic. Somehow.

It’s had a huge effect on it. And that’s not an excuse.
They shot kenobi just before it. All reports say it was a severely limited crew and really depending on the volume thing.

Again. Not an excuse or whatever the word is. But keep it in mind.

I've loved watching the tech progress. These shows are still a lot of fun and something I look forward to. I'm excited to see the visuals improve, as they have, as they will continue to do. The last two episodes of Boba have been far and away the best in terms of vfx.

I struggle with the volume at times but I'm getting used to it.

Yeah, they used Hamill acting the part to teach the AI. Probably filled in some gaps too.

On the back foot of this episode I watched return of the Jedi last night
On Disney +

They’ve changed and cut loads of it.
It’s mental.

Can’t believe Grogu might walk away from his training. Nobody wants to work anymore.
