Back to earlier comment - yeah I hate how these tours start a week before the album release. Huge pet peeve.

I get being annoyed by it but I’m also kind of into it these days. In the world we live in where every bit of information is immediately at our finger tips - opinions formed before experiences had - it’s kind of exciting to go into a live show and hearing songs for the first time.

Not an intimate performance by any means. Should have just played MSG. Eddie Vedder + any five musicians can sell out arenas in the northeast.

Glenn had guitar failure on one song. Eddie wiped out twice and he wasn't drunk. Chad was way too loud.

I have to agree with people - for a theater, the sound at the Beacon is subpar.

The Earthling album portion on the show is such a slog. EV seemed to acknowledge that. He needs to throw a PJ song in the beginning of the show to keep the crowd engaged.
I’ve seen five shows at the Beacon. Every one of them sounded fantastic. Where were your seats?

The second Beacon show setlist looked fun. Perhaps these will see a release someday.

Yeah they can go ahead and play any PJ song they like because it’s so fun to hear Chad play them.

Imagine a world where Chad Smith took over for Jack Irons.

Still give me those Jack Irons years. Matt can even come on board for Binaural and Riot Act. THEN Chad can take over.
