Recent image from Hubble. I’m so excited for images to start coming in from the James Webb telescope this summer. Going to be amazing.
What weird coloration gimmicks are science journalists going to do with the James Web infrared outputs I wonder.
:haha:

The universe-- yet another false flag operation.

What will they think of next?

Its mostly (all?) going to be outside the visible spectrum, so they're going to have to modify it to make graphics for anyone other than moths.

The temptation to do something other than shift everything x nm towards the visible spectrum is probably going to be too great and they'll tweak things to get more compelling visuals.

But they know exactly to which specific colors to convert the photons based on wavelength (which includes red shifting) and the elements that are detected. It’s not like they’re just arbitrarily throwing pretty colors up with impunity.

Not NASA. The science journos are going to have fun with NASAs outputs.

Why are you people arguing over what color is painted on the firmament dome? If God wanted us to see it, he would have given us eyes to see it.

In dim light , our rods take over and our cones shut down, but the cones are what allow us to see color

It's a rip off

Y'know, it was just today when I realized exactly how much like a penis Blue Origin looks. I've heard the jokes. I guess I've seen it before, but today, I guess, was the first time I was paying attention.

Wow.

Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Different black hole. This one is at the center of the galaxy. The other one was somewhere else if I remember correctly.
