Re: The Running Thread
Did a normal run this morning maybe 2 miles … knee been hurting like a motherfucker out of nowhere the minute I got home, and it’s even worse now. My body might have just decided “ok that’s it”

Talked myself out of going back to back days. This will help get me on an every other day schedule for awhile until my recovery time gets more better.

are you likely to run away and never return if you're not wearing a leash?Bammer wrote:Someone suggested one of these hands-free leashes to me today.

Re: The Running Thread
I was going for a fast out and back with headphones on today and I felt a presence at my feet about a mile in. I looked back and there was this sweet mama pitbull keeping up with me at an easy gait. She ran with me for nearly a mile then cut over to the cemetery on my route. I started pondering her story when I got to the turnaround and by the end of the run I'd guessed that she lost her owner, a runner, and just wanted to spend some time with them in spirit before saying hello at their final resting place.

5k in 27:50. Felt really good. I think it’s my PR 5k for a non-race.

Re: The Running Thread
I didn't know there was a running thread!!
I run around my suburb 1 -3 times a week. lately ive been listening to load and reload. good running tempo music.
I never usually time myself, its usually about 3.2kms in 3-4 songs. maybe 17 mins??. hopefully i can get more motivated by this thread.

Did 6 and a quarter on Tuesday. Lifted weights and walked 8 miles yesterday. Resting today, but I'm going out for another 6 or so tomorrow.
